Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks and build new memories alongside family and friends. After much planning and preparation, North Broad Huskies came together for their third annual Thanksgiving feast at the Kallet Theater on November 25th. As students dined with their North Broad family, they gave thanks for the important things in their lives and proudly showcased the “restaurant etiquette” that they learned from the Fifth Grade Leadership Team. The enormous smiles and heartfelt excitement from around the room was contagious. We couldn’t be more thankful for our North Broad family and community.
The generosity of many remarkable Oneida businesses/organizations and the North Broad Street PTO made this third-annual event a memorable one for our students. Napoleon’s Cafe prepared a mouthwatering meal, complete with turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls, corn, and salad. The fantastic stuffing was made by Origlio’s Wagon Wheel and the Madison-Oneida BOCES culinary students baked countless homemade apple and pumpkin pies! Through donations and support from the long list of businesses, organizations, and individuals below, the feast was complete with festive decor, silverware, paper products, and placemats. On behalf of the entire staff at North Broad Street, we thank these businesses and volunteers for their kindness and support!
We are thankful for our North Broad Street family and for all that our community does for our students and our school!
